Plan Your Visit

To make your visit memorable, we recommend the following guidelines. Please note: there is absolutely no mountain bike riding permitted outside scheduled instructional programs, training camps and club rides.

it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Dress code

  • Bring water, a hat and wear comfortable footwear (hiking boots, running shoes). Bring a walking stick or ski poles if necessary.
  • Note that the black flies are at their worst from May 1st to June 15th. Come prepared.

A conscious environment

  • Please use natural bug repellent and refrain from spraying inside the lodge.
  • Please be mindful of all your actions and respect zoning as indicated on the site map.
  • If possible, use your cell phone in your car or in the parking lot.
  • Please be mindful when separating your garbage out into the appropriately marked waste containers.
  • Please refrain from smoking or drinking alcoholic beverages on the grounds at all times.

We love technology and we can't imagine living without our Apple computers and digital cameras. However, we encourage you strongly to keep your calls or e-mail in the parking lot, respecting all the individuals that come to the Centre to consciously 'get away' from all that technology!

  • Dogs are most welcome on the site but please be aware that not everybody feels safe around dogs.
  • Please leave non-socialized and barky dogs at home. My dog Frodo has Addison's disease and his exposure to aggressive dogs should be limited.
  • Please pick up after your dog at all times. We have biodegradable poop bags in the lodge if you forgot yours.
  • Unless your dog answers to your commands, we strongly recommend a leash.
  • We will not be held responsible for any mishap that happens to your dog(s) during your visit.
